Notice to Voters Voting by Mail

Your right to vote is important to us. If you cannot afford the return postage to mail back your voted ballot, you have the following options:

  • Deliver your voted ballot to our Supervisor of Elections’ main office.
  • Drop off your voted ballot at the designated secure ballot intake station at our Supervisor of Elections’ main office and early voting location.

Contact us at : www.holmeselectionsfl.gov or 850-547-1107 for information about designated secure ballot intake station location and/or additional options for the return of your voted ballot.

 

Attention: IN ORDER FOR YOUR VOTE-BY-MAIL BALLOT TO COUNT, YOUR SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS MUST RECEIVE YOUR BALLOT BY 7 P.M. (LOCAL TIME) ON ELECTION DAY. IF YOU WAIT TO RETURN YOUR BALLOT, YOUR VOTE MIGHT NOT COUNT. TO PREVENT THIS FROM OCCURRING, PLEASE MAIL OR TURN IN YOUR BALLOT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Su derecho a votar es importante para nosotros. Si no puede pagar el gasto de devolver su boleta votada, tiene las siguientes opciones:

  • Entregue su boleta votada en la oficina principal de nuestro Supervisor de Elecciones.
  • Deje su boleta votada en la estación de recepción de boletas segura designada en la oficina principal de nuestro Supervisor de Elecciones y en el lugar de votación anticipada.

Atención: PARA QUE SU BOLETA DE VOTO POR CORREO CUENTA, SU SUPERVISOR DE ELECCIONES DEBE RECIBIR SU BOLETA NO MÁS TARDE QUE LAS 7 P.M. (HORA LOCAL) EL DÍA DE LAS ELECCIONES. SI ESPERA PARA DEVOLVER SU BOLETA, SU VOTO PUEDE NO CONTAR. PARA EVITAR QUE ESTO OCURRE, ENVÍE POR CORREO O ENTREGA SU BOLETA LO ANTES POSIBLE.

What should I do if my return envelope for my vote-by-mail ballot arrives pre-sealed?

If your return envelope is pre-sealed, call us at 850-547-1107 and we will immediately mail you a replacement envelope. You may also come to our office located at 201 N. Oklahoma Street, Ste 102, Bonifay, FL and we will provide you with a replacement envelope.

If there is insufficient time to request a replacement return envelope, you may carefully open the top of your pre-sealed return envelope with a letter opener or scissors, place your ballot in the return envelope, and seal the return envelope with tape. Be sure to carefully follow all instructions on the vote-by-mail ballot and envelope. Your vote will not be rejected if you follow this protocol.

What should I do if my vote-by-mail ballot is damaged?

If your vote-by-mail ballot is damaged, immediately call us at 850-547-1107. We can discuss whether your vote-by-mail ballot is usable and send you a replacement vote-by-mail ballot if necessary.
