The DEADLINE for candidates to change party affiliation is JUNE 16, 2019.
Section 99.021, F.S. states that any person seeking to qualify for a nomination as a candidate of any political party shall, at the time of subscribing to the oath or affirmation, state in writing: 1) the party of which the person is a member. 2) that the person has not been a registered member of any other political party for 365 days before the beginning of qualifying preceding the general election for which the person seeks to qualify.

Being an involved voter has become more and more important in today's world. It is important for today's voters to be well informed in order to participate effectively in the elections process. The more you know in advance of Election Day, the more pleasant your voting experience will be.
