THREE WAYS TO VOTE:

Voting in Florida has never been easier.  You can choose one of three ways to cast your ballot:

VOTE EARLY

Registered voters may vote early at the Elections Office during the two weeks prior to Election Day.  Check with our office (850-547-1107) or website (under election calendar) for dates and times.

VOTE ABSENTEE

Registered voters may request an absentee ballot by contacting our office by mail, phone, fax or e-mail.  Requests for an absentee ballot must be received no later than the 6th day (Wednesday before a Tuesday election) before election day.  Voted absentee ballots must be received in the elections office no later than 7:00 P.M. on Electoin DayYou must remember to update any address changes with the elections office.  Absentee ballots can not be forwarded and if they are returned as undeliverable, all subsequent requests will be cancelled.

VOTE AT YOUR PRECINCT

You may vote in person at your polling location (printed on your voter information card) on Election Day.  Polls are open from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M..  Florida law requires that when voting at your polling location, you must vote in the precinct of your legal resident address.  It is a felony to vote in a precint in which you do not live.

PHOTO & SIGNATURE ID REQUIRED

FS 101.043 requires ANY voter, who votes early at the Supervisor of Elections office or who votes at his or her precinct on election day, shall be required to present his or her photo and signature identification to the clerk or inspector.  If your photo identification does not contain your signature, an additional identification with your signature shall be required. Your voter information card no longer meets the requirements of the law for voter identification purposes.  Some acceptable forms of photo identification are:  Florida Drivers License; US passport; Florida ID; student ID; or military ID.

Voters not providing both photo and signature identification will now be required to vote a provisional ballot, the eligibility of which will be determined by the Canvassing Board.  Voters are strongly encouraged to bring both photo and signature identification with you when voting early in the Supervisor of Elections office or when voting at your precinct on election day.
